How and when to re-certify
Your CERT training certificate and Disaster Service Worker (DSW) insurance coverage is valid for 4 years. During that time, you must attend at least one CERT advanced training each year. This keeps your certificate active.
Contact your local CERT coordinator and ask for a recertification. You'll resign the Disaster Service Worker forms and take a new photo. We'll mail you an updated ID card.
If it’s been more than 4 years since your CERT training, contact vasb@ernqlzneva.bet. We always welcome CERTs who want to retake the training.
